The prices were outrageous! $1.00 off most items if you have their card, which brings things down to a little higher than normal. Don't be fooled by the big sales advertised, their best price w/$1 off is still $0.25-$1.50 above wally world...
It's first class ! In 40 years of shopping in this area Smith's is the only store that I have found where the employees go out of their way to help a shopper find whatever they are looking for . I really can't say enough about the way I've been treated there. A simple question will have any employee either directing you to what you need or off to get it for you. I'm no body but in Smith's they always care !
I love the store remodel job they have done. lt looks much classier and neat. The employees have always been very nice and helpful every time I've visited. The only issue that has always bothered me about this location, Rio Rancho, is their parking lot. It is connected to the Smith's gas station at/in the same parking lot which also belongs to several other businesses making it always really congested. I went really early Saturday morning, as we do several times a month for your incredible fresh bakery donuts & pastries. I actually got a very close parking spot, which really shocked me! I proceeded to do my breakfast routine shopping, go straight to the bakery and my cherry fritters tray was EMPTY! I suppose others must have discovered these incredibly delicious gems!! :-), but it is the only time it's happened. Smith's is the only place that has the most awesome cherry fritters I've ever had! :-)
This Smith's is by far the best one I have shopped. Always well stocked, organized and clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. They treat us like family. I especially appreciate Darlene, Lawrence and Ruben, who all go above and beyond any Customer Service I have experienced. This is now our Go To Grocery Store.
Good sales! Fruits and vegetables always fresh.! As well as their meat. Honestly beats going to Walmart. Staff is friendly and helpful.
