Not impressed at all by the intelligence of the majority of the Officer's. I had to deal with a few due to tenant issues and there was only a couple that seemed educated. Most are fairly polite, would be nice to have some smarts behind them as well.
I had 1400$ worth of stuff stolen from me, gave me a case number and i told him i had info of where the perp may be and he tells me that its out of his jurisdiction and that I should contact abq about my problem, this goes to show how much of a lack of effort this force puts in to their community... smh disappointed
I've I interacted twice with RRPD recently. Once when they responded to a false home security alarm at my home and then when I was involved in a vehicle accident last night. I had two or more police officers on scene within minutes both times. They were strictly professional yet polite and friendly. They are indicative of the best and brightest NM has to offer. Kudos and 6 out of 5 Stars.
Give the kids with YUGE ego problems and you have the RRPD or they are compensating.
Have have had nothing but great interactions with Rio Rancho Police. Was just in an accident and he was extremely patient , listened to everyone and was very nice. They always say hi to my girls an wave at them when we pass them on the roads. I always roll down the windows so the girls can wave. They love police officers and get excited when they see a woman officer. I'm proud to support all police , but I believe Rio Rancho has the bet ones! ;)
They would follow me around when I was younger and harass me. I have been pulled over and ticketed over thirty times with most of it being appealed and dismissed in district court. I have had guns drawn on me over five times, mostly being pulled over for traffic infractions. The city attorney is a racist and threatens and belittles you if you stand up against their harassment. Her name is Gina Manfredi. The arrested me for defending myself and my mother from her deranged and drunk boyfriend. Straight up violated my right to bare arms. He beat her shortly after again and the DA dropped the agg assault charge. Oddly enough I have lived all over and never had issues with the police. I recommended not visiting Rio Rancho ever, because of the police force there. They must be bored and recruiting klan members, because I have been called a dirty Mexican. I am Hispanic, like the other 80 % you ass hats.
They have this scam going on as well, it's called Redflex. You know that one company that was investigated by the Feds and charged and sentenced the CEO FOR BRIBERY.
