The food was great as always. We've been coming here once or twice a month since we moved to RR a year ago. The service, for the first time, was not. We barely saw our waiter, who was new, I think. We never got our sopas, even after I asked for them and waited and waited for our drink refill, boxes and check. Also, they've replaced the flan with cheesecake on the menu, which our server assured us was soooooo good. I was unaware cheesecake was a traditional New Mexican dessert... We won't be back. Bummer...
Such a wonderful experience. Our waitress was amazing. The food was spectacular and we just had an overall great experience. I am so glad we were driving by and decided to stop on a whim. Can't wait to go back.
Hot Tamales is one of my favorite restaurants! If you're looking for amazing New Mexican food, this is the place! DELICIOUS! I've never had anything but a great experience with this business!
This isn't my favorite New Mexican place in town, but it is probably my favorite on the West-side. The food was very good. Service was excellent. We went on a Friday evening with a large group during peak hours and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Everyone in our group of 12 went away satisfied.
Decent fajitas which seem to be hard to find these days. The cuts of meat were a little odd and I bit into something not pleasant, but the flavor was there. Would be perfect if they grilled a whole breast and sliced it.
