Evangeline H, Physical Therapist = There is NONE better.

As a retired Nurse Practitioner I have very strong opinions about hospitals and the care rendered in them. I can truly say that thr UNM Sandoval County Regional hospital is by far the most outstanding hospital I have ever been in. If I was still working it would be an honor to be affiliated with this facility.

DR. NIKKI PARKER -RAY, M.D.

CHRIS, R.N. Charge Nurse on the 4th floor

THANK you all for you incredibly professional treatment, your compassion and your warm, caring, EXCELLENT SKILLS.

It started out a promising health center but my mom has had some terrible experiences here. Her cardiologist fell asleep during an appointment once and, recently, she showed her primary care doctor some spots on her hand. He completely dismissed them. Well, I took her to a dermatologist who just called to say that the biopsy showed they were pre-cancerous. If she'd had trusted her primary care doctor she wouldn't have bothered to get them checked and ended up with full blown skin cancer.

Received the worst care by any emergency room hospital I’ve ever been to. Charge Nurse Samantha Chavez was absolutely lazy, she never once got up from her chair to assist her colleagues, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I arrived to the ER only one other person was in the waiting room and she wasn’t even a patient waiting to be seen she was a family memeber waiting to be let back to be with her sick loved one. I waited an hour in the waiting room and had other people that arrived after myself taken back before me, 3 people to be exact. Finally I was takin back only to be put in a hall bed and ignored. I waited an additional 3 hrs once in hall bed never had an IV started, blood drawn, NOTHING was done for me. I ended up leaving SRMC and going to rust medical center where I received a full work up, was treated like a human with people that had compassion and truly cared for there patients. After a thorough work up from Dr. Corriz and his supporting staff I was diagnosed with IBD, ulcer colitis, and chrons. It truly is a shame that SRMC didn’t care enough to help. SHAME ON YOU SRMC and ED staff! You should be embarassed. I recommend if you’re sick NEVER to go to this hospital. Samantha Chavez SHAME ON YOU! Take pride in your work or maybe find another profession.

ALL OF YOU WERE WONDERFUL!

Nothing we did to get the swelling of the Left Leg down worked UNTIL I saw Evangeline. She worked with me and she got the swelling down. She is a Marvel. Her patient skills are amazing, Her work is wonderous.

My elderly mother has been going to UNM Sandoval for primary care for quite some time. A few weeks ago she received a letter that her primary care doc was going to bail on his patience. (Dr. Fleg) And a new primary care would be assigned in December or January of 2018. Completely unacceptable treatment and quality of care. For someone who suffers from extreme high blood pressure, for no one to see any urgency with this is ridiculous. Stay away from this hospital and medical offices. The staff as well as doctors are mediocre at best. Staff is rude and very very unhelpful. If.anything happens to my mom I will sue this terrible hospital and doctor Fleg. STAY AWAY. Look for something better.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO THE following doctors, nurses, lab staff and all employed with whom I had the honor to meet, INCLUDING JUANA, WHO WAS PART OF Housekeeping!
