Turned off water on one of our tenants because a previous account holder had a bill 30 days late. Currently on hold for 1 hour and still no one answers the phone. We have a family of 4 sitting with no water at no fault of their own.
After reading all the horrible reviews I was dreading making a call to get some much needed info regarding water pressure in my home. I was pleasantly surprised to only be on hold for about 5 minutes. After explaining what I needed to a nice lady who first picked up, I was transferred to Guy. Guy gave me all the info I needed and seemed more than happy to help. Five stars for nice people and quick service.
I have always had excellent service. I work in Albuquerque and am never able to go in during business hours. All of the business that I do has been done over the phone and the staff has always gone above and beyond to help me.
I guess everyone in Rio Rancho must have a leak because that's what they tell me too every time I have to give them 200 dollars. My sister lives in Albuquerque and their water bill is 60 dollars tops for a family of 4 and mine is always 200 dollars for a family of 3! And to add insult to injury they changed the billing to 3 weeks instead of 4. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS RIO RANCHO!!
Staff seems friendly but that is just about the only positive thing I can say. I called seven (7) times to find out when I would be receiving a bill, each time holding approximately 20 to 30 minutes... come to find out they were sending it to the wrong address. Why you would even send a water bill to a different address is beyond me. Had to take a trip down to the office to correct it. Lost my ability to get my deposit reimbursed because my paymetn was late by this time. They did waive the late fee as a "one-time courtesy" but would not waive the deposit without a letter of credit from an alt provider. They "graciously" gave me an extension to obtain a letter of credit which they then accepted. Then I asked to give me the balance to bring my whole account current and they only gave me the past due balance which I paid thinking I did not have anything else due. Here we are another month later and 4 months into our new home and still have yet to receive a physical bill. Just made anothet call to see when we could expect it and we are past due again. Beyond annoyed. It's like jumping through hoops with these people. Terrible, Terrible service. Something needs to change.
