I found them to be pretty courteous after two visits maybe I just got lucky but for rudeness you wont beat the treatment you get from IRS in Albuq. Something should be done about that.

I took both my Mom and Dad to the Rio Rancho office on September 20th because they were given a referral that this was a smaller office and wait time was less that is why I drove them there from an hour and a half away. They were seeking new social security cards. The wait time was less than an hour which was great! I give 3 stars because my dad was helped by a male employee in window 12- and My mom helped by a female employee in window #10. The male employee was helpful and somewhat friendly. I walked my mom to the #10 window, then turned back and sat with my dad because he is hard of hearing. My mom at window 10, Rude is how I describe the female employee. Before my mom got to the window the employee looked at my mom, rudely said- you drove far here today- not even a Hi- RUDELY #10 asked what is your SS#- after my mom gave her the number- my mom had documents in hand as she sat down- the employee again rudely tells my mom- that is the WRONG document. My mom wasn't planning on giving the employee that specific document- my mom did tell her- I was not going to give you that document- needless to say my mom needs a birth certificate to proceed. But I just hope the supervisor reads this post. My parents are up in their mid 70's and show nothing but respect but how sad for this employee to be so rude. Not sure if she took out her rudeness on my mom because of a previous individual. My dad will be getting his SS# in 2 weeks. I am in my mid 40s , I work with the public and I see no reason for this employees RUDE behavior. While sitting with my dad at window 12, other employees within the office at least smiled and said HI- they were friendly.
The paperwork they provide you when you go in will not allow you to get an id or drivers license. Even through they swore up and down mvd would take it. Waste of time. Thanks!!!!
